Application Guidelines

Applying Flamecheck Plus is a straight forward process; by following our simple application guide you can apply Flamecheck Plus to a range of different absorbent materials (see appropriate test reports).

PRIOR TO STARTING APPLICATION

  • Complete a risk assessment prior to use.

  • Appropriate PPE should be used for application including gloves, goggles and where required a mask.

  • The surface to be treated must be clean and dust free.

  • Remove all loose cushions and coverings, treat each one of these separately.

  • Test the fabric to be treated for absorbency and colour fastness: spray Flamecheck Plus on a small unobtrusive area of each type of material and allow to dry prior to general application.

This treatment is a temporary solution and should be re-applied annually,
IT IS ESSENTIAL IF THE MATERIAL GETS WET IN ANY WAY TO RE-TREAT IT TO MEET FLAMMABILITY REQUIREMENTS.
